PlayStation to go ‘real’

Electronics giant Sony is all set to release its very own reality show, The Tester, on PlayStation Network. The show can be seen on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation portable game devices.

Part of Sony plans to create original digital content, Tester is going to go live February 18 till April 18. The eight episode series is part of the growing catalog of entertainment offerings on the PlayStation Network. It is about contestant who will have to undergo grueling exercises to be able to win the prize.

The winner will become a certified tester and will be offered $5,000 as the signing bonus amount. The show can be seen free for the above mentioned period. “With the addition of the original series, The Tester, we further establish PlayStation Network as the preeminent destination for digital entertainment in the living room or in the palm of your hand,” said Peter Dille, senior Vice President, marketing at PlayStation Network.
